Riley Henrikson, Trips Staff
Hello everyone! My name is Riley Henrikson (she/her). I will be one of the seasonal trip staff this summer and I am from Cambridge Minnesota. This will be my first time working at Camp Seymour and my first time in Washington! Although I have worked for Camp St. Croix as a part of the OE program. Outside of that, I have worked as a youth gymnastics coach for about 3 years. If I’m not working or in school I love to bake goodies, drink coffee, and go hiking. Overall, I just enjoy being outside whether that is camping, swimming, paddle boarding, having a picnic, or hammocking. Although, there is nothing I love more than hiking to see a waterfall. My favorite snack is either trail mix or cookies (depending on the activity I am doing). Something that surprises people to hear about me is that my first time on a plane and truly traveling was when I was 18. I am so excited to travel and live in a new place that I have never been to before and I’m excited that I could hopefully leave a positive impact in someone’s life. As excited as I am to move away from home the rational part of my brain is a little nervous to be so far from family and friends.
